Jun 23 09 Harbingers: The Story Teller
My previous piece titled “The Fallen Lord” had inadvertently spawned a series of paintings which I decided to call “Harbingers”. I have finally finished the second in the series of four which is called The Story Teller.
Whilst I don’t really blame Ti’ana for the fall of D’ni, the Harbingers series depicts those who had significant impact on the events that transpired.
Turned out a little more morbid/darker than I had expected.

- “A grandmother with a creepy face”
The style is too dark for my taste, but nevertheless, well done. What is she holding? The map Aitrus drew perhaps?

She’s holding a skull.
I’m hoping that when it’s put up there with the other 3 paintings the darkness of it will not be so noticeable.
But then the death of 2 million odd people isn’t really a cheerful subject matter.

I’m usually into darker stuff, and all I can say is…. wow.
This is amazing. You truly have a gift, my friend, in everything you do.
