Feb 6 07 Making a Stand/DRC Forums
I would like to ask all of you who are not happy with Cate taking away the forums, those of you who would like to see the forums return to join us in a sit in protest in the Tokotah Courtyard* on Thursday at 12pm Cavern Time (12pm Mountain Time, 2 PM EST , 11 AM Pacific, and 19:00 GMT.).
We would like to see the return of the forums and to remind Cate that she can’t have everything her way.
We hope to see you there
* The Tokotah Courtyard is located at the top of the Great Stairs in Ae’Gura.

[...] Tweek’s organizing a protest to have the DRC forums returned. I just can’t say I care one way or another about them. I don’t know that the DRC paid very much attention to them (I think we got the liaisons partly because of a post on the forum, and that’s all) so they weren’t crucial. Also the fact there’s a discussion link I’d like to think would allow some sort of communication, at least public discussion among the DRC for all of us to see. [...]

[...] That’s the biggest downside… now it’s just a static website without much information. Many Explorers, inlcuding me, want the forums back. Even Mr. Engberg, while inspecting the Library yesterday, said he disagreed about Ms. Alexander’s decision too. Tweek is now organising a sit in at the Tokotah Courtyard. I’ll be there. Maybe we can change her mind, and if we can’t, we have at least shown our disagreement. It’s important to let her know we would like the forums back. She even asked some Explorers what they wanted to see on the new website some weeks ago, so I think she will listen to our opinion… [...]
