Jalak Dador
Games
I have been gathering my notes on the various Jalak Dador games I have created and added them here for others to use.
HighBall
Number of Players:
3 (2 players 1 referee)
Arena Layout:

Rules & Aim of the Game:
The two players stand in their designated spots, the referee in his. The ref drops a ball down in the center of the course. The Players jump from their column to the other players column trying to hit the ball into the opposite goal.
The number of goals to obtain to win the match is determined by players before match starts.
When a ball is put on play and the players jump to hit it, when they land on the opposite players column they must return to their own column.
When returning to players own columns, players should indicate that they are ready.
If a player falls before reaching opponents column a penalty round is started, the fallen player remains at the bottom of the arena and the player who is on top of the columns gets a free ball. If both players fall then the penalty is not needed.
After a holoball has been played and the Ref has determined the location (whether it ended up in a goal or on the arena floor) the ball should be removed with the holoblocks eraser KI button. This will make it easier when glitches in the holoblocks occur (previous matches has shown holoballs fall into a goal only to appear on the arena floor).
Referee’s will decide outcomes of contested goals.
First player to reach the set amount of goals wins the game.
Shifting Sands
Number of Players:
This game can be played with 2 to 4 players, with an extra player as the “Time Keeper”.
Arena Layout:
Course is set to randomized (highest randomize setting), player starting areas need to be set to the lowest column point. Single small holoblock is set in the center of the arena.
Rules & Aim of the Game:
The aim is to get to the block in the center of the course.
The players start off in each corner (if there is 3 or 4 players playing) or in opposite corners (if there is just 2 players playing).
Use of the KI GUI for arena manipulation is not allowed until the game is won (Time Keepers are not bound by this rule, for reasons stated below). The winner is allowed (and recommended) to level the playing field when he/she has reached the center thus notifying the end of the game and the winner.
The Time Keeper will announce the start of the game and count off 10 seconds. When the 10 seconds has passed he/she will click the randomizer and set the course moving. From then on the Time Keeper will count off every 30 seconds and randomize the course.
Players are allowed to move as much as they want, the game is not turn based, it is a race to the center. Players are allowed to move the columns up and down.
Players are not allowed to move columns that the opposite player is standing upon.
